We promote a ‘sense of togetherness’. A hugely popular tradition at the company is the annual THOMAS SABO Christmas party. Here, we celebrate – in a wonderfully relaxed environment – the successes of the past year with our international colleagues. 

Performance reviews

Within the context of personal annual performance reviews with their superiors, all employees have the opportunity to help structure their area of responsibility and define their vocational further development moving forward. The THOMAS SABO management always has an open ear for the concerns of its employees. Prudent improvement suggestions are rewarded and implemented.


As an international company, the THOMAS SABO Training Academy guarantees uniform standards at all our sites. This internal, interactive e-learning-platform is targeted at product knowledge and sales training seminars and is available to all THOMAS SABO employees worldwide. Furthermore, we offer our store staff comprehensive and personal training seminars to support them in dealing with customers from day one – because shop employees are our most important brand ambassadors.

Work and family

Family values are firmly embedded in the THOMAS SABO management. As a growing regional employer, we are aware of our social responsibility and made this official with the signing of the Family Friendliness Charter of the Metropolitan Region of Nuremberg in July 2016. At the Lauf an der Pegnitz site, we operate the ‘THOMAS SABO Silbersternchen’ crèche in cooperation with the Arbeiter-Samariter-Bund (ASB – Workers' Samaritan Federation) Nuremberger Land e. V., which manages the facility. The children of employees between the ages of six months and six years receive superlative care and attention in the crèche and the kindergarten. Furthermore, schoolchildren can be enrolled for afternoon and holiday care.

Health & well-being

All offices at the company headquarters in Lauf an der Pegnitz have been equipped with ergonomic office furniture. And our two in-house canteens – the ‘Restaurant’ and the so-called ‘Casino’ – offer balanced diets with a selection of the most diverse culinary delights that change daily. In addition to this, we operate an in-house, state-of-the-art gym, offering yoga and Pilates courses, for example, and where special massages can also be booked.

We offer all employees a staff discount on our items of jewellery and watches at the company headquarters in Lauf an der Pegnitz and on a country-by-country basis.
