International Sales Manager - Travel Retail (m/f/d)

As the Sales Manager focusing on Travel Retail, you will play a key role in driving sales growth and brand visibility in airports, duty-free shops, and other travel retail outlets worldwide. Leveraging your extensive experience and network in the travel retail industry, particularly within the jewellery or lifestyle segment, you will develop and execute sales strategies to maximize revenue opportunities and enhance brand presence in key travel hubs. 



  • Develop and implement sales strategies and initiatives to drive revenue growth and market share in the travel retail channel.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with travel retail operators, duty-free shops, and airport authorities to secure prime retail space and promotional opportunities.
  • Collaborate closely with internal teams, including marketing, product development, and operations, to ensure alignment of sales efforts with brand positioning and objectives.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities, including partnerships and collaborations, to expand brand presence and drive sales in travel retail outlets.
  • Conduct regular market analysis and competitive research to identify trends, opportunities, and potential risks in the travel retail sector.
  • Plan and execute product launches, promotions, and special events in collaboration with travel retail partners to drive traffic and increase sales.
  • Provide training and support to retail staff and sales teams to ensure brand consistency and maximize sales performance.
  • Monitor and analyse sales performance metrics, including sell-through rates, inventory levels, and customer feedback, to evaluate the effectiveness of sales initiatives and optimize performance.


  • Industry experience of minimum 5 years and a strong international network in the jewellery and / or watch industry
  • Proven track record of success in international travel retail sales, with a strong network and relationships within the travel retail industry.
  • Previous experience in travel retail, preferably within the luxury sector, with a focus on jewellery, watches, or other lifestyle brands.
  • Deep understanding of travel retail operations, market dynamics, and customer behaviour in key travel hubs.
  • Strong negotiation and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport and influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • Results-oriented mindset with a passion for driving sales growth and achieving targets.
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
  • Fluency in English; proficiency in additional languages would be advantageous.
  • Extensive travel internationally
