Product Manager Jewellery

With us since 2015

I studied business administration in Berlin, initially focusing on product management. After completing my studies, a vacancy at THOMAS SABO was an opportunity to become practically familiar with this interface job within the company. What I find particularly interesting in my work is the correlation between the rational and creative tasks.

„my job demands that I work swiftly and precisely, while deploying economical thought processes with regards to my tasks.“

– Birthe Eiling

My tasks

I am a Product Manager at the THOMAS SABO headquarters in Lauf an der Pegnitz, working in the Jewellery division. My team is – in collaboration with the Management – responsible for planning and developing the new collections. Once our design department has finalised the designs, we steer the manufacturing process for each individual design – all the way through to market roll-out. For me, this means that I work very closely with my superiors and all departments involved on a daily basis.

What I like about THOMAS SABO

THOMAS SABO is a medium-sized, owner-run company with flat decision-making hierarchies. Many processes and procedures here are flexible and creative in structure, so that we always collaborate closely with the Management and launch products swiftly. The decision-making processes at THOMAS SABO are short and characterised by a personal and humorous approach. I find it fascinating how we are again and again able to successfully launch our collections together with our colleagues, partners and vendors and wow our customers each season – despite extremely tight scheduling.

My motivation

I love team spirit! Whether this is in my leisure time on the tennis court with my team or at work with my colleagues.

What I’m proud of

I have always loved being creative in my thought processes, working as a member of a team and showing my stamina when it comes to complex topics. It is not least due to my personal interests and my colleagues with whom I quite literally ‘productively’ collaborate that I am today fulfilling my ambitions within a young, modern company!
